NGO in the special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations
Children around the world specially in Pakistan, continue to face severe violations of their rights, including exploitation through child labor, trafficking, and lack of access to education and healthcare. IHRO is dedicated to protecting the rights of children by advocating for stronger legal frameworks and working directly with communities to combat these abuses. We focus on preventing child labor by promoting education and supporting families to reduce their economic dependence on child labor. Through partnerships with governments, NGOs, and local organizations, we work to create safe environments where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
Furthermore, IHRO emphasizes the importance of providing holistic support to children rescued from labor or trafficking situations. This includes not only their immediate physical and emotional recovery but also ensuring their long-term rehabilitation and reintegration into society. We advocate for comprehensive child protection systems that can identify, prevent, and respond to abuses, and we work to raise public awareness about the devastating impacts of child labor. Our ultimate goal is to create a world where every child is free to enjoy their childhood, receive an education, and grow up in a safe and nurturing environment.
