People with disabilities in Pakistan face significant barriers in accessing education, employment, healthcare, and public spaces. Despite the passage of the Disability Rights Bill 2020, implementation remains lacking, leaving many individuals without the support and accommodations they need. Social stigma and discrimination further exacerbate the challenges faced by this community, limiting their opportunities for full participation in society. It is crucial for the government to enforce existing laws and adopt new measures to ensure that people with disabilities can exercise their rights and live with dignity.
