Pakistan is highly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, which pose significant threats to human rights, particularly for marginalized communities. The country ranks 153rd out of 162 countries in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Index, indicating slow progress in achieving these global targets. Climate change exacerbates existing inequalities and threatens access to clean water, food security, and health. Implementing effective climate policies and integrating the SDG agenda into national development plans are essential steps towards safeguarding the rights and well-being of all citizens.
